What it does

A Scheme of Work is the term-long topic outline for a subject and class — one row per week. A Lesson Note is the detailed teaching plan for one topic in that scheme: previous knowledge, objectives, step-by-step presentation, evaluation and assignment. This system manages both, end to end, through an HOD approval step before either becomes visible to students and parents.

The workflow
  1. HOD or Teacher creates a scheme of work → submitted for approval.
  2. HOD reviews it under Approvals → approves or rejects.
  3. As it's actually taught, progress is marked in-progress or completed.
  4. A detailed Lesson Note is written against an approved topic → submitted.
  5. HOD approves the Lesson Note too, before it becomes visible.
  6. Students and their linked parents see the approved topic, its progress, and the lesson note.
A shared Content Library

A platform-wide library of generic scheme of work and lesson note content is available to any institution to import as a starting point — and to individuals whose school isn't yet on the platform, via free self-registration.
